Tortas, Tortas, Tortas!

If you’re looking to have a torta, or Mexican sandwich, Bolillo Torta is a good choice.  Tortas come with a bacon-wrapped, cheese-stuffed jalapeno, plus your choice of vegetables, salad, or Mexican-style corn on the cob called elote.  Spice it up with some of their house-made salsas (chipotle, tomatillo y nopales, serrano).  Vegetarians can try the Queso Panela or Veggie torta.

They also make their own aguas frescas, which are definitely worth trying.  Flavors may vary, such as horchata (a cinnamon, sugar, rice-based drink) and tamarindo (made from tamarind and sugar).

Open until 3am Thursdays – Saturdays and featuring a selection of beers and wines, this place is great for a quick lunch or late-night dinner.  And, they offer catering and delivery, in case you’re looking to have food for a meeting during the conference.

Be ready to take big bites.
